Jun Rey Tabarno

Jun Rey Jover Tabarno earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Manila. He is currently engaged in wetlands and protected area management at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - National Capital Region, where he works as an Ecosystems Management Specialist for the Protected Area Management Office of the Las Piñas-Parañaque Wetland Park. His work primarily focuses on Communication, Capacity-Building, Education, Participation, and Awareness (CEPA) campaigns, particularly in youth mobilization.

Beyond his government role, he also volunteers with various non-government organizations, including the One Pawikan Initiative, where he serves as a Science Communication Officer."
